You may log out of all devices at any time from your account settings.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, attempt to abuse the AI tutor for purposes unrelated to language learning, or are used fraudulently.

3. Subscriptions, Free Trial, and Billing

LingoPeak offers a free trial period (currently 7 days) followed by paid subscription tiers (Starter, Pro, and Premium), each with its own monthly AI conversation allowance and feature set as described on our pricing page at the time of your purchase.

Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annual, as selected) through our payment processor, Razorpay.
Prices are shown in Indian Rupees (INR) at checkout and may change with notice; continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new price for future billing cycles.
You may cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation stops future billing but does not refund the current billing period unless required by applicable law.
We do not store your full card or payment details — these are handled directly and securely by Razorpay under its own terms and security standards.
Refunds, where applicable, are evaluated case by case; contact us at the support email below within a reasonable time of the charge.

4. The AI Tutor and Pronunciation Tools

LingoPeak's conversational tutor and pronunciation feedback are powered by third-party artificial intelligence technology (currently Anthropic's Claude models). You understand and agree that:

AI-generated responses, corrections, and pronunciation scores are produced automatically and may occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete, or culturally imperfect. They are a learning aid, not a certified or human-verified language assessment.
Pronunciation feedback is based on speech-to-text transcription processed by your browser combined with AI analysis of the resulting text — it is not laboratory-grade phonetic audio analysis, and should be treated as directional guidance rather than a definitive accent score.
You will not use the AI tutor to generate, request, or attempt to extract harmful, illegal, hateful, sexually explicit, or otherwise abusive content. We reserve the right to suspend access for users who attempt to misuse the AI features.
Conversations with the AI tutor may be processed by our AI provider to generate responses, subject to our Privacy Policy.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable Indian or international law.
Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, resell, or redistribute the Service or its content without our written permission.
Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service, including attempting unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts.
Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, design, software, and materials that make up the Service (excluding content you submit, such as your own messages to the AI tutor) are owned by LingoPeak or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for your personal learning, and nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of our intellectual property to you.

7. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, LingoPeak and its founder shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three (3) months preceding the claim.

9. Changes to the Service or These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our Service, legal requirements, or business practices. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of material changes (for example, via email or an in-app notice) before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
